In this video, I show you my typical wash day routine. This is pretty much what I do every wash day, but it varies at times depending on what my hair needs.
Step One: Pre-poo/Detangle
I use water, oil, and a cheap conditioner to prep my hair for shampooing as well as getting the initial tangles and knots out.
Step Two: Shampoo
I typically do two shampoos on a wash day. If I had my hair in a protective style or used a lot of gel, I would probably do three. But the shampoos that I tend to use really clean my hair and scalp after two.
Step Three: Deep Condition
I usually deep condition every time I shampoo and I strive to use heat every time.
Step Four: Leave-In
I apply my leave-in with a light oil and then style.
How many steps do you take for wash day?
